3. Appointment-Related Text Messages
Clients may consent to receive transactional, appointment-related text messages from Hollow Eleven Hair Studio. These messages may include appointment-request acknowledgments, confirmations, reminders, rescheduling updates, cancellation information, and responses to scheduling inquiries.
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and communications with us. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing salon services.
Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent may be provided by checking a separate SMS-consent checkbox when submitting an online appointment request, by giving verbal consent when scheduling by telephone or in person, or by initiating a text-message conversation with Hollow Eleven Hair Studio when a direct response is reasonably expected. Consent is documented when required before automated or recurring appointment messages are sent.
After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming that your opt-out request has been processed. Opting out of text messages does not cancel an existing appointment, appointment request, balance, or payment authorization.
4. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number, text-message opt-in information, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information and SMS consent may be disclosed only to service providers that help us deliver, route, document, and manage appointment-related messaging, and only as reasonably necessary to provide those services. SMS consent is specific to Hollow Eleven Hair Studio and is not transferable to another business.
5. Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party service providers to operate parts of our business, including website hosting, appointment management, calendar services, email delivery, data storage, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, and text-message delivery.
These service providers may process personal information on our behalf only as reasonably necessary to provide their services, comply with legal requirements, maintain security, or prevent fraud. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy policies, terms, and security practices.
6. Payments and Cards on File
Hollow Eleven Hair Studio uses Stripe as a third-party payment processor. When you enter credit or debit card information, the information is submitted directly to Stripe through Stripe's secure payment services.
Hollow Eleven Hair Studio does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Stripe may provide us with limited payment-method information, such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration information, billing details, and whether the payment method is available for future use.
When you agree to place a payment method on file, Stripe may save that payment method under a Stripe customer profile associated with your contact information. The saved payment method may be used for the purposes disclosed when your consent is collected, including payment for salon services and authorized cancellation or no-show fees.
Placing a card on file or submitting an appointment request does not, by itself, result in a charge. Any cancellation or no-show fee will be determined and processed in accordance with the appointment policies and payment authorization you accepted.
We may retain records showing that you agreed to save your payment method and authorized its permitted future use. These records may include your name, contact information, appointment information, acceptance date and time, policy version, technical information when available, and Stripe identifiers associated with the payment method or transaction.
Stripe processes payment information according to its own terms, privacy policy, security practices, and legal obligations. Removing a payment method from our active client records may not remove transaction or compliance records that Stripe or Hollow Eleven Hair Studio is required or permitted to retain.
7. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand site usage, maintain security, and improve performance. You may be able to limit cookies through your browser settings, although some website or booking features may not function correctly as a result.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information in limited circumstances:
- To service providers that perform business functions on our behalf
- To payment processors, financial institutions, or fraud-prevention providers as necessary to process or evaluate a transaction
- When required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or respond to payment disputes
- To protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Hollow Eleven Hair Studio, our clients, service providers, or others
- In connection with a business reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements
Regardless of the circumstances above, mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage appointments and client records, process payments, document consent, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment-network obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
Records associated with payment authorizations, cards on file, payments, refunds, cancellation fees, no-show fees, receipts, and disputes may be retained after an appointment or client relationship ends when reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Payment and transaction information retained by Stripe remains subject to Stripe's retention practices and applicable legal obligations.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. We also rely on service providers that maintain their own security controls for the information they process.
However, no method of transmission over the internet, electronic storage, or payment processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid sending complete payment-card information, passwords, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email or text message.
11. Your Choices
You may contact us to request that we update or correct personal information you previously provided. You may also ask about the payment method associated with your client profile or request that a saved payment method be replaced or removed, subject to outstanding appointments, balances, transactions, disputes, and applicable record-retention requirements.
Removing a saved payment method does not cancel an appointment, eliminate an existing balance, reverse a previously authorized charge, or waive a cancellation or no-show fee that became due before the removal request.
You may stop receiving appointment-related text messages by replying STOP. You may still contact Hollow Eleven Hair Studio directly regarding appointments after opting out of automated text messages.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and online appointment services are not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.
13. External Links and Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services. Hollow Eleven Hair Studio is not responsible for the independent privacy practices, security, availability, or content of those third parties.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, services, technology, or legal obligations change. The updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after an update is subject to the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
